A family farm with history dating back hundreds of years to the Venetians, these local producers are stewards of the land, local history, and the ancient craft of olive oil production. The Happy Olives farm sits on a terraced landscape nestled in the verdant valley of Mili, 15 minutes from the port of Naxos. A farm rich with biodiversity and history, the property also includes a historic water mill, cistern, and dry-stone walls that have lasted for centuries.
Using only organic, traditional farming methods, owner Kostas Karavias has a mission to spread the health benefits of one of Greece’s most historic, nutrient-rich ingredients. Koroneiki variety olives are hand-picked each season and cold-pressed with care. High in polyphenols and tested annually at UC Davis’ Olive Center, this olive oil is packed with antioxidants and vitamins.
